Rachel Odell Peterson, 90, of Hamilton passed away April 18, 2026 at the Marion Regional Nursing Home.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, 12:00 until service time beginning at 2:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Todd Clippard officiating. Burial will follow at Love Joy Cemetery.
Survivors include, Sons: Jimmy (Diane) Peterson and Ray (Carolyn) Peterson, Grandchildren: Nicholas (Amanda) Peterson, Nathan (Heather) Peterson, Rickey Childers, Regina (Bobby) Martin, Great Grandchildren: Charity (Grady) Sims, Dylan (Fancee) Peterson, Carrie (John) Borden, Cheyenne (Nathan Pardue) Peterson, Alexander Peterson, Hunter Peterson, Maralynn Peterson, Isabella Peterson, Great Great Grandchildren: Kaylee and Ayla Sims, Anna Borden, Ryder Pardue, Baby Elijah Sims coming in July., Sister: Margie Trotter, Nieces and Nephews.
Extended Family: Troy and Polly Wiginton, Tanya Wiginton, Terry and Stephanie Wiginton and their Daughters and Son
She was preceded in death by, Husband: Wallace Peterson, Parents: Sisrow and Lilly Mae Parker, Sister: Vernell Clay and Baby Brother.
A special thanks to her Pastor, Todd Clippard for all the time he spent bringing her to Bible study and to the staff and nursing staff that took care of her and us during her care for almost 3 years. They went above and beyond to love on her and help us in the legal steps we need to do for her care.
