It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Rackard, a member of the Hackleburg Community, who has departed this life peacefully on June 26th, 2026 at the age of 64.Kenny will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his caring spirit, his sense of humor, and the warmth he brought to everyone around him. Even in his final days he was still able to bring smiles to our faces. Born on September 1st 1961, Kenny grew up surrounded by family and friends who cherished him for his joyful nature. Throughout his life, Kenny was known for his dedication and loyalty to his work and family. He was also known for his love for Alabama Football, fishing, hunting, playing guitar, and watching Spidey with his grandkids. Kenny is survived by his loving wife Kathy Lee of 30 years, His children: Stormie Rackard (Joe Carter), Harlee Rackard, Bella Rackard (Daniel Stidham), Camryn Styles, Step Daughter: Amanda Raper, His Grandchildren: Ella Carter, Rilee Rackard, Rex Carter, Hannah Belue, Tre Raper, Emma Raper, Caroline Raper, Elijah Raper, His Siblings: Verlon Rackard (Linda Rackard), Randy Rackard (Sondra Rackard), Preston Rackard (Jackie) Rackard, June Freeman, Vonnie Hughes,. Along with countless friends and extended family who will carry his memory in their hearts. A celebration of Kenny’s life will be held on Monday, June 29th. Visitation will begin at 4pm and the service will follow starting at 5pm. Located at Hamilton Funeral Home. Kenny Rackards legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will live on in all who had the privilege of knowing him. Kenny Rackard will be dearly missed and forever remembered.
