Jimmy Waylon Thompson's Obituary
Jimmy Waylon Thompson, age 56, of Hamilton passed away peacefully on Sunday Morning, March 22 at his home in Hamilton. Born in Tupelo, MS on March 14, 1970 to Jimmy Thompson and Brenda Lucas Ivester both formerly from Mooreville, MS.
He graduated from Mooreville High Scholl in Mooreville, MS and lived in Mooreville for several years before moving to Hamilton with his mom. Waylon was an avid fan of singer Patti Labelle and loved her music and had met her several times during his younger days. He loved decorating and was a pet lover and cherished his little dog named Sharma.
He is survived by his mother, Brenda Lucas Investor of Hamilton, his uncle, Roger Lucas of Decherd TN, and two dear friends, Alex Colburn of Hamilton and Gary Frye of Decherd, TN. He is also survived by several cousins and friends in Mississippi where he was born and raised.
A celebration of life will be held on another date and family request that donations be made to your local church.
