Jimmie Lou Nichols' Obituary
Jimmie Lou Roberts Nichols, 83, of Hackleburg passed away Friday June 13, 2025 at the North Alabama Medical Center.
Jimmie Lou was born April 29, 1942 to the late James “Jim” and Addie Carter Roberts. She was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church, a proud graduate of Gravel Springs School, wonderful cook, very devoted wife, and doted on her kids and grandchildren. She was employed at Kellwood for 29 years, Wrangler for 5 years and Pilgrims Pride for 17 years.
Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband of 61 years Billy Paul Nichols, Daughters, Lisa Nichols Stockton (Tim), Rhonda Nichols Frederick (Todd) and Amy Nichols Henson (Carter); grandchildren, Jason Stockton (Laura), Matt Stockton (Kristin), Dalton Frederick,, Brodie Frederick, Carley Henson and Callie Henson; great grandchildren, Taylor, Addy, Ellie, and Rawlins Stockton, brother Willard Roberts, A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by, grandson Casey Stockton and sister Loutrille Roberts Howell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025 12:00 until service time beginning at 2:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Clint Holcombe officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Tree Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be , Brian Roberts, Roger Howell, Greg Scott, Chris Robnett, Braiden Holcombe, and Dale Pierce. Honorary pallbearers will be, Justus Holcombe, Candy Adams, Brandy Lambert, Darrin “Tall Boy” Bogus, Christi Wallace and Brian Gardner.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Enhabit Homehealth and Hospice, Jodi Truelove, Laken Brumley, Jeff Boyles, Mya Hudson, and Molly Carruth, the staff at JW Sumner, Stoke Unit at Huntsville Hospital and also Jane Riner for all her love, support and help.
