James Edward Powless, 77, of Hamilton passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026 at the North Ms. Medical Center in Hamilton.
A private family service will be held.
Survivors include, Daughter: Leah Powless Homan (Richard Kitchens), Son: Jonathan (Carrie) Powless, Grandsons: Emerson Powless and John Marlin Homan, Brother-In-Laws: Patrick (Dana) Emerson and Jerry Burleson, A host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends.
He was preceded in death by, Wife: Elizabeth Jane Emerson Powless, Granddaughter: Mary Elizabeth, Parents: Ralph and Doris Sullins Powless, Sister: Linda Wates. Sister-In-Laws: Judy Burleson, Deborah Emerson and Phyllis Bancroft.
