J.B Roper, Age 77, of Hackleburg passed away February 4, 2026.
He was born on October 15,1948 in Hackleburg, AL to Icy Black and William Raper. J.B drove a truck for a lot of his life and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, hunting and fishing with friends and he enjoyed spending time with family.
J.B is survived by Wife :Shirley Roper Sisters: Dean Taylor and Pauline Bryant. Daughter: Stacy Roper, Grandchildren: Elizabeth Mathews ( Fitzpatrick), Alexander Mathews, Aidan Parker
He is preceded in death by his Mother: Icy Black Raper, Father: William Earnest Raper, Brothers: R.V an R.C Raper, Sister: Elean Lund and close friends Junior Bearfield, Glen Wells, and Allen Hanson.
A Private Celebration of life will be held for close family.
