Gerthie Faye Mutter, 87, passed away Monday, December 8, 2025 at Methodist Germantown Hospital.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12, 2025, 12:00 until service time beginning at 2:00 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church, burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Survivors include, Daughter: Angela Denson, Grandchildren: Geoff (Teri) Cooper, April (Byron) Miksch, Stephen Cooper, Chad Cooper (Angela), Dustin Cooper (Kelly), Kaleb Cooper (Nicole), Nathan Cooper (Emily), Shelly Cooper, and Millie McQueen (Virtuan). Great Grandchildren: Katie Cooper, Jake Cooper, Clemens Miksch, Sophie Cooper, Sam Cooper, Barret Cooper, Valley Cooper, Blaze-Leigh Cooper. Tae Garret, Keegan Cooper , and Zialyn Fuqua. Brothers: Jack Emerson, Marshall Emerson, and Ritchie Emerson, Sisters: Judy Rudicell and Sandra Huggins.
She was preceded in death by: Parents: Richard Emerson and Annie Mae Emerson, Brother: Norman Emerson,SIster: Marie Upton Sons: Tim Cooper and Donald Cooper, Daughter-In-Law: Jan Cooper
