DeWard Ray Ritch's Obituary
DeWard Ray Ritch, 84, of Hamilton passed away Tuesday March 24, 2026 at North Ms. Medical Center in Hamilton. He was born July 20, 1941 in Hamilton, AL to the late Phillip Edgar Ritch and Hulda Jane Hester Ritch. Ray was a cherished Father, Grandfather, Loving Husband and Devoted Son. He served God, His Family, community and country with all his heart. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, 1:00 until service time beginning at 2:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at West Alabama Memorial Gardens. Survivors include, Wife: Annie Jewel Ritch, Daughters: Donna (Billy) Smothers and Theresa (Wendell) Edgil, Grandchildren: Evan Smothers, Reid Smothers, and Daniel Edgil, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends. In addition to his Parents he was preceded in death by Brother and Sisters.
