Danny Keith Crace's Obituary
Dan Crace, a devoted member of the Hamilton Church of Christ and a respected veteran and professional contractor, passed away Monday, January 19, 2026, at the North Ms. Medical Center in Tupelo, Ms. He is remembered for his dedication to service, his family and his many talents.
Dan proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force, dedicating 12 years to his country as a Vietnam veteran. His military career included tours across Europe, Asia Minor, and Southeast Asia, reflecting his commitment and bravery.
Following his military service, Dan applied his skills and leadership in the civilian sector. He served as Vice President of Contracting for a property management company and contributed as an editor for the Institute of Real Estate Management Magazine. Dan was also a licensed general and solar contractor for over 40 years, working alongside his wife Jeanne Crace in their decorating and remodeling business. His expertise extended to public service as a state inspector for water and waste management plants. Dan attended Solano College in California, furthering his education and professional development.
Beyond his professional accomplishments , Dan was a man of many passions. He enjoyed playing the banjo, fishing, and restoring antique vehicles, hobbies that brought him joy and enriched his life.
Dan is survived by; daughter Patricia Houser and her husband Paul; daughters by marriage Pamela Parrish (Bob Murray) and Renee Koehler; grandchildren Jimmy Hillard (Kristen), Meagon Keck (Eric); grandchildren by marriage Corey Koehler, Nicholas Koehler, and Baby Tiffany; great-grandchildren Isla Marie Hillard, Oliver Keck, Olivia Keck, and Chloe Tucker; brothers Ted and Jim Crace; and sister Lu Hagen; his good friend and caretaker Donna Emerson.
He was preceded in death by his parents John and Blanche May Crace; by his loving wife Jeanne Crace; daughter Caroline Hillard; daughter by marriage Ruth May; granddaughter Holly Marie Hillard; and grandsons by marriage Tim Tucker and Michael English.
Services will be held at Hamilton Funeral Home chapel on Wednesday, January 28th. Public visitation will begin at 11:00 AM, with the service starting at 12:00 PM. The place of burial will be Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Dan's life was marked by service, dedication, love for his family, community and Christ. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him,
