Charlotte Beth McCarley's Obituary
Charlotte Beth McCarley passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at her residence in Hackleburg, Alabama. She was born on April 24, 1948 in Florence, AL to King and Mattie Lou Cleveland. As a young teenager, Beth professed Christ as her personal Savior and was baptized and became a member of Hackleburg First Baptist where she attended during her lifetime. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmy Hugh McCarley; her infant son "Little" Jim McCarley; and sisters Kerry Pinkerton and Martha Hudson. She is survived by her children Heath (Stephanie) McCarley of Hamilton, Heather McCarley of Northport, and Joshua McCarley of Hackleburg as well as her two grandchildren, Ryder McCarley and Rylee McCarley; her sister Lydia Whitehead of Muscle Shoals; and numerous extended family. Beth was well known in the Hackleburg area as the owner and operator of Miss Beth's Daycare where she took care of local children for 30 years. In her later life, she was the manager of the Hackleburg Senior Center where she enjoyed seeing the seniors that came in every day. She will be remembered for her kindness and the special love she bestowed on her family. She will be deeply missed but we are so thankful for the reassurance we will be reunited in Heaven again one day. Services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Hackleburg First Baptist Church. Pastor Sam Morgan and Brother Wade Wallace will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 2-4pm with the funeral at 4pm. Our beloved Beth will be laid to rest at Cedar Tree Cemetery.2
