Billy Dwayne Satterwhite 57 of Hodges passed away at home Monday, July 27th, 2026.He was a devout man of God known to many as Preacher or Bro. D. He loved his family, friends, and his church family. He touched many lives during his ministry. He loved to tell people about Jesus and did at every opportunity. He wanted others to see Jesus in him and wanted his life to reflect Jesus to others, to help lead them to the cross. He loved his grand babies they were his life. He will be greatly missed as he always quoted from the Bible " To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord " That is exactly where he is present, with Jesus.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, 1:00 until service time beginning at 2:00 at the Hamilton Funeral Home Chapel.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years Pam, One Daughter: Kayla, Grandchildren: Kayden Caine, Ivy and Iris Jackson, Thobias Jackson, Mother: Dianne Gates, Brother: Brock Satterwhite, Uncle Gail Satterwhite and Nieces and Nephews. The most precious man and best friend a man can ask for: Mike Evans.He was preceded in death by, Father: Billy Joe Satterwhite, Grandparents: Homer and Exie Satterwhite and Movline Garrett and Two Grandbabies.
