In Loving Memory of Billy Joe Cook, age 52, of Hamilton, Alabama, passed away on March 6, 2026.
He was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and grandfather whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Billy was known for his caring heart, his smile, and the love he had for his family. He treasured the time he spent with his children and grandchildren and took great pride in being a father and grandfather. His memory will live on in the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Angel Sharpton; his children, Tori Melece Cook, Tyler Joe Cook, Troy Landon Cook, Arionna Brashear and Pamela Gunn ; and his cherished grandchildren, Elizabeth Shiflet and Ryder Shiflet. He is also survived by his his brothers, Robbie Cook and Patrick Cook.
He is preceded in death by parents, Yvonne Cook and Kenneth Cook,
Billy will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and friends, and for the lasting impact he made in their lives.
Funeral services will be held at New Bethel Church, 1608 County Road 147, Bearcreek, Alabama 35543.A family service will be held Monday March 9,2026 at 12:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at the church cemetery. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor and celebrate Billy’s life
