Our story

Established in 1940 by Earlie and Nell Jeffreys, Hamilton Funeral Home is the oldest business in Hamilton, AL. It stayed in the Jeffreys family until 1984 when Randy Jackson became part owner. Randy had been employed at the funeral home since he was 14 years old. Randy became sole owner in 1993 and that also was when he established Hackleburg Funeral Home. Randy ran Hamilton Funeral Home for 53 years and never turned anyone away that needed help.

After Randy's unexpected passing in 2021, his oldest son Kyle took over as owner and operator. He is a 2015 graduate of East Mississippi Community College with and Associate of Applied Science Funeral Service Technology. He has over 20 years experience in the industry.
